threesomes...

...is not what this blog will be about.

thanks for everyone that came out last night to madrone. the night started slow and shane had serato drama which was handled beautifully in the end with such hits as that new brasilian beat, "nao me doctor" or some shit. and the game/jose gonzalez' dream remix. funny how when throwing events or anything you often worry that no one will show up, begin to drink prefusely and the place gets crackin' out of nowherewell it wasnt "CRRRACCKIN'" last night but you get the idea. anyways will discuss new hot music in a bit.
speaking of. was at 222 the other night. they finally got their liquor license, and its not so dark inside. regardless, the set up and vibe i think is one of the dopest in the city. apparently however, wednesdays seem to be a crazy influx of 20yr-old academy students. whatever im hating and hypocriting(new word). i can only deal with so much of "artists" talking about their new visuals and projects to one day do, than actually seeing it done. or maybe im hating because
as me and the girls were bobbing to such random classics like bone thugs, too short and camp lo we began to get a little intrigued. UNTIL the dj was really an ipod! yes i love vinyl but im not a an old grump that will tell you fucking with the serato is not keeping it old school and can actually still just as easily make people get wet, nor am i not NOT obssesed with my ipod or any mac (not the makeup) product. if we were all chilling at my house that'd be cool. but why play an ipod in a bar? its only an mp3 file and the sound is shitty. we seemed like we were a bit outcasted and they all knew each other (the 20 & academy thing) so maybe they felt like they were just chilling in their living room. whatever. 222 rocks.

aaaah mac obssesion. looking at this shit makes me a) glad im a geek and drool and b) wish i were more of a geek to think and actually come up with these. dudes got like 72 ideas in addition:
